* Problem/Opportunity Tackled: Continuously bring new interaction ideas into the existing platform to improve acquisition, activity, and word of mouth of the application and create best in class reading experience.
BACKGROUND
Dergilik is a News and Magazine platform functioning across various platforms, which aims to be highly personalized and socially connected. I’m working as an Interaction Designer and Visual Designer, and take active role in recommending new user journeys and features aligned with product’s value proposition.
BENCHMARK & CONCEPT DESIGNS:
I recently worked on a personalization and enhanced browsing experience which targets increasing in-app duration and activity rate. For this study, user researches, competitor benchmarks and concept designs were utilized to come up with a personal-joyful reading experience.
Detailed user and screen flows are adopted in Dergilik’s design projects, where all team members discuss expectations and are able to plan development efforts accordingly.
Interaction Designs are produced while exploring new journeys/features (membership wireframes above).
New feature recommendations are conceptualized and presented to the product/development teams to proactively realize the socialization target of the product.
Designs are customized and implemented across platforms such as TV, Web, Mobile and Tablet.
Product Redesign Project: The product’s initial redesign (after MVP) was completed in 2016 taking into consideration all targeted journeys of the product.
